Iddi is the winner of Startupper of the year by Total Challenge in Tanzania. He has won a total of 35 million Tanzanian shillings. Iddi started off as an event photographer and it is within his line of work that he came up with the idea to develop a device that would make his work easier by enabling him to take photos and have them produced instantly. This has helped him improve the efficiency of his service and therefore greatly improve customer satisfaction

Iddi is now not only able to improve his business but he also aids other photographers avoid the hustle of going to studios as he is able to produce photos anywhere at anytime.

He plans to expand his business by adding more devices and purchasing more motor bikes through which he can get more clients and employ more young people in Tanzania

ENTREPRENEUR AND OWNER OF NELWA'S GELATO

 

Mercy has emerged 1st runner up of the Startupper of the Year by Total Challenge in Tanzania and has won 20 Million Tanzanian Shillings. Her project; Nelwas Gelato is aimed at growing the food industry in Tanzania by producing Icecream using fruits that are indegineous to the country like durian(fenesi), pineapples, bananas and mangos 

Mercy has a dream to expand her business within various parts of Dar Es Salaam which will then create employment opportunities for the youth especially under privileged women so that they can be able to improve the livelihoods of their families.

ENTREPRENEUR AND FOUNDER OF ROGECH ANIMATION AND VISUAL EFFECTS

2nd runner up of the Startupper of the year by Total Challenge in Tanzania has won 15 million Tanzanian Shillings after his business idea; Rogech Animation and Visual Effects stood out to the judges as innovative and sustainable

Krantz produces various advertisements using 3D animated effects (cartoons). He has had a dream of working with various large corporations in the country. Receiving this capital will help him acquire higher quality business tools (equipment) while the advertising campaign will help him gain visibility for his business. With this initiative, Krantz will be able to create jobs for youth with different skill sets.
